Reminders can cause Microsoft Dynamics GP to crash on GP 2010 SP 3 or later

UPDATE:  A new hotfix has been released in regards to the below issue.  This information can be found at the following url:
https://community.dynamics.com/product/gp/gptechnical/b/dynamicsgp/archive/2012/09/07/the-smartlist-builder-reminders-fix-is-now-available.aspx

Do you have a specific user that is running into issues where Microsoft Dynamics GP crashes when logging in following the SP 3 installation?

If so, we have found that if a user has added SmartList Favorites to their Reminders and those Favorites are based on SmartList Builder queries, the GP application may crash when the Reminders window opens upon logging into the Microsoft Dynamics GP application.  This seems to be occurring for specific users who are on Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 SP 3 (11.00.2044) or later.

The issue is currently being looked at, but in the meantime, the following workaround steps can be taken:

Run the following Script in SQL Management Studio for the user that is experiencing this issue:
** As always, ensure that you have a valid back-up of your DYNAMICS database before doing so. **

Delete from DYNAMICS..SY01404
where DICTID = 3830 and USERNAME = 'XXXX'

(Replace XXXX with the actual name of the user that is experiencing this issue.)

Thanks!
Sarah

This issue just came up for the first time yesterday. Ever find out why it's only on a specific user and not others?

Thanks for the comment Jocelyn!  We are still looking into the issue.  As of right now the workaround is to still remove them from the Reminders.  Thank you!

This fixed our issue for the time being, but if the user adds the reminder back it brakes again.  Is there a fix for this or have an idea when one will be released?

    Thanks.
