Today’s Topic: Internal Message Tips You can’t Afford to Ignore

This session will help you understand how to get messages out to users when you need them out of Dynamics, plan for the downtime ahead of time, and keep them out until you're ready for production again. You can also use a method for allowing users to let you know when they’ve completed a function/task on a recurring basis.

Although Microsoft Outlook is a wonderful communication tool, there is now the capability to send users currently in the system a message, the ability to tag a database as off-line, and the ability to setup tasks for yourself and other users in the system.

Learn the new capabilities for taking databases offline within Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 R2. See the new and previous features of creating tasks that will appear on the desktop for specific users in the system, and how to mark them as either one-time or recurring responsibilities with due-dates. The Software Debugging Tool features that can also achieve similar functionality will also be displayed.

Roles: Accountants, AP Professionals, AR Professionals, Human Resources, IT Professionals, Operations & Inventory Managers, Project Managers, and System Administrators
