Friyank Profile Picture Friyank 944

How to Find documents uploaded on SharePoint in MS CRM ?

So Document Management is going on and Integration is done with SharePoint.
In Setting > Document Management > Document Management Setting > Enabled for some of the selected Entities.
But Cannot see Document Tab or Sub area in Entity > Record > Nav Bar.
For E.g

The Contact Entity is not Enabled for Document Management.

And So we cannot Find Relationship record for Document in relationship Explorer.02.png

Lets Enable Document Management for contact entity. and publish Changes

03.png

Now if you open any form of Contact to customize and check relationship Explorer you will find a documents relationship as unused

04.pngDrag in Any Area (common, Sales,Marketing, etc).
Before publishing just open Contact and open any record
You will not find any Document sub area or section in navigation drop.

Publish changes you made to form and Refresh this Form and click navigation drop.

If you click Document and you see following error, that  means folder is not created on share point site.

07.png

Go to setting >  document Management > document management Setting >  pop up will open with Contact entity selected, but folder for this is not created on share point Site.
So go Next and and next and you will see Folder being created Successfully with Status as Succeeded for contact Entity.
Again Refresh the Page Go to document sub area of current Record.  and now you will be able to see the Document Associated Grid 08.png

In summary to this Blog.
To See Document associated grid.
You must have Document management Enabled for Entity.
You must have Document folder created on sharepoint using document Management Setting.
You must have document relationship included in Navigation Area of any form for this Entity.

Hope it helps !
