NAVUG Summit Town Hall... and the 2015 Location Reveal!

Day 2 at NAVUG Summit 2014 in St. Louis was filled to the brim with educational sessions, structured networking, Expo hours, and even more sessions!

Thursday was capped by the ever-popular Town Hall session.  Hal Howard, Executive Director for Dynamic Communities, moderated the lively discussion, with members of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Product Team fielding quesiotns from the audience.  Town Hall panelists included Brett Johnson, Senior Program Manager; Brian Nielsen, Principal Program Manager; Dmitry Chadayev, Senior Program Manager; Jonathan Davis, Program Manager; Marko Perisic, Director of Program Management; Thomas Brownell, Senior Support Engineer; and Tom Blaisdell, Senior Support Escalation Engineer.

The panel gave candid responses on topics including the complexity/level of effort for future upgrades, will there be application enhancements, importance (and ease) of staying current on the new architecture stack, how do I convince the business manager to upgrade, the plan for customer relationship management within NAV, enhancements for BYOD (bring your own device) incorporation into internal clouds, offline capabilities on tablets, strategies around financial reporting, and more.
