- Derek Albaugh, Support Engineer at Microsoft since 2007
- Area of expertise: Support and troubleshoot technical issues with Microsoft Dynamics GP financial software to include its web applications.
- Favorite thing about Dynamics GP: I like helping customers and partners work with Dynamics GP and resolving their issues and questions so that they can get their work done- at the same time helping them gain their knowledge so that they also learn from the experience so that maybe next time they can resolve it without needing a support case opened.
- Most excited for at GPUG Amplify: Considering it’ll still be winter temperatures in Fargo, ND, having Amplify in Anaheim, CA is probably a given as to what we’re all excited about, but also seeing the excitement end users have for Dynamics GP and being able to meet some customers face-to-face during that time.
- Advice for GPUG Amplify attendees: If you have questions from multiple departments in your company, you can bring those to us and we’ll see how many we can get answered during Amplify. Some attendees have lists, some have one or two questions they’ve been struggling with and some just come by to say ‘Hi’.
- Dean Marty, Sr. Support Engineer at Microsoft
As Anya Ciercierski said in her recent blog, "Think about the cost of a Microsoft support incident. Instead, you can bring your issues to GPUG Amplify and get free support from some of the top Microsoft Dynamics GP resources in the world."
