HI Kelly/Terry,
I saw the post by Bill Campbell on Feb 25 is this a known issue? any update on this?
On another note, we noticed that when you have multiple employers in the same installation and produce the XML file to send to the CRA, it produces one file with all employees and for both employers in the same file. Is this new? I could have sworn that you could produce 2 files one for each employer number in years past.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Grant

Hi guys - any idea if the update coming out next week will be a package file for the 941 or a full update? Thanks - Windi

Kelly / Terry we have a situation with a client that has an employee at this time that is already hitting the max for EI and CPP - yes I know early - but this employee makes a great deal per year.
What has happened is that we have generated the payroll for the end of February and it has presented the result for this employee with the value holding at the max for 2012, not the updated value for 2013.
We have run the script - that fixes the T4 Presentation - but it does not seem to resolve the calculation of the EI / CPP in the application.

Hi Bill, there was no January hotfix for 10, but we have a blog on scripts that were created to fix it on 10. Below is the link.
It is also noted on our 10 tax update pages
community.dynamics.com/.../canadian-payroll-t4-cpp-qpp-and-ei-maximums-stopping-at-2011-rates.aspx
Thanks

Kelly is the fix noted above on the 2010 and 2013 also apply to GP10 - I know it is the last update for GP10, but to leave it in a broken state would not really be fair. Just wondering. I have used the T4 EI / CPP fix for Canadian Payroll on GP10 and that worked as directed, just hoping that we can something to fix the other issues in GP10 as we move forward and migrate these clients to GP2010 and GP2013

Hi Douglas, thanks for the comment on the blog. Yes we are still targeting the end of March, we have to wait till the FINAL 941 form is released and that has not happened yet. Once it is released we can note what are changes will be and a more firm release date. The 941 patch will be for 2010 and 2013 versions. Thanks Terry Heley

Kelly - is Microsoft still on track for a hotfix\service pack to be released in March for 2010 and 2013? In particular I am looking at the changes in regards to IRS Form 941 in payroll. Thank you.
