Deploy Microsoft Dynamics 365 AI for Sales

A lot of users were curious about how the artificial intelligence and mixed reality features for Microsoft Dynamics 365 AI for Sales would look like when they were announced by the Vice President of the Microsoft Business Applications.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 AI for Sales is already available for a few months (released November 2018). In the following article, we want to provide our readers with a small tutorial on how to deploy the new AI features on your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Online instance and summarize the advantages.

The functionalities are based on features that are already available in the core of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales. Dynamics 365 AI for Sales uses existing data from LinkedIn, Office 365 and Dynamics 365 to provide the users with new insights for every user from the sales department.

How the Sales Team is Supported by Microsoft Dynamics 365 AI for Sales

Prioritize on important opportunities:

Ai for Sales identifies and prioritizes automatically leads and opportunities with a high probability for success. It uses a broad range of different “weak signals” for prioritization that usually is overlooked.

Tracking of the communication for leads, contacts, and accounts:

Sales team members can see which colleagues have been in contact with a lead. With the help of the integration and evaluation of the entire activities from Office 365, the purchasing process can be overtaken by every employee in the company.

Customer Relationship Management of the future:

With the new AI, features sales staff can see the current sales status and possible threats to the customer relationship. These signals are based on data from Office 365, Dynamics 365 and LinkedIn. Clients with a higher need for care can be identified easier.

Personalization of customer interactions:

Based on embedded analytics relevant and personalized information can be delivered that give recommendations for further steps with the client.

Automation of the sales process:

Increasing productivity with contextual suggestions such as creating new contacts based on notes from the sales staff.

Deploying the New AI Features

Step 1: Click on the App Launcher and select the Admin App

Step 2: The Microsoft 365 Admin Center opens. Open the Admin Center and select Dynamics 365.

Step 3: The Dynamics 365 Administration Center opens. Click on Applications.

Step 4: Select Dynamics 365 AI for Sales and click Manage.

Step 5: Select "Consent on behalf of your organization" and click accept.

Step 6: Select the Dynamics CRM organization and accept the terms of use. Click continue.

Step 7: Microsoft Dynamics 365 AI for Sales is installed, and you can track the status of the installation.
