Business Central 2020 Release Wave 2 SaaS is available!

Great day today!

Today October 1 2020, “Business Central 2020 Release Wave 2” is available on Cloud (SaaS) and on Docker distributions and soon the On-premise installation DVD will be available.

All what’s new for this October’s release can be found on the ms-docs page (below the link), in next post I will show you some interesting new features (my opinion).

How to configure\test the new release?

Create a new Sandbox Environment (SaaS and on Docker)

#1 – Create a new Online Sandbox (BC SaaS 2020 release wave 2)

Today you can create a new Production or Sandbox Environment based on v. 17.0.16993.0 (BC 2020 Wave 2)

Example: create a new sandbox from Admin Console

Now you can use the new Sandbox

#2 – Run on Docker distribution (BC On-premise 2020 release wave 2)

On Docker-HUB https://hub.docker.com/_/microsoft-businesscentral-onprem

On Container Registry https://mcr.microsoft.com/businesscentral/onprem

** Try today or wait until the docker images will be uploaded on Azure Container Registry

#3 – Download the DVD Distribution
