Hi Mariano, We are currently GP10 sp3 going to sp5... I've attended Atlanta Convergence 2010 and am active on the community as much as possible. My company is not Partner so we haven't been invited to the other events you've spoken about in this IMHO. Going to GP 2010 will probably have to wait. In a sense, moving forwards with software upgrades is costly in the fact that it takes up IT team project time to implement. Since we are in pharmaceutical, all changes must go through a series of validation tests and all must be documented. Also, we do not use terminal server technologie and have well over 100 work stations witch makes an upgrade drain alot of time off of IT team.
Normally, in any industry I've been working in will skip a version. That way, technologie has time to cumulate their software advantages and the Small-to-average size companies get their ROI on their last upgrade! :)
Nice IMHO.
