Convergence EMEA, the European-based sister conference to the event first began disappearing in 2009, as Microsoft opted instead for a multi-city road show. It was then shut down altogether in favor of a "worldwide" Convergence event in North America by 2010. Now, it appears, Convergence EMEA is making a comeback in November 2013 in Barcelona.
