Publish data using Excel Addin - D365FO

Hi,

In my previous post, I explained the export of data from D365FO to excel add-in configured spreadsheet and in this post, we will discuss publish the data from spreadsheet and import into D365FO. 

Step 1: For demo purpose, I have chosen the customer group data exported earlier.  

Step 2: In order to test the publish option of excel add-in data connector I changed the description of customer group CustGrp2 from "Customer group 3" to "Customer group 3 updated".

Step 3: After changing the value I clicked on publish option to import the data back into D365FO and we could see publish message(boxed in red color) indicating that the operation is successful.

Step 4: Now I need to confirm that the publish option has updated data in D365FO and it's clearly evident from the below screenshot that the update has happened for the field description of customer group CG2.
