Why do we need sales tax conversion for dual currency?

It is very simple.

Because we report the sales tax in different currency than the transaction currency and with the digits there can be some differences during the calculations.

This used to be an issue before and with the release 10.0.13, now we are able to proceed.

Forexample you use EUR in accounting currency in all your companies and in reporting currency you local currency for reporting purposes but according to the legal authourities, VAT is reported in your local currency, then you need to decided of the selection of this parameter.

This parameter can be changed in any time but advised to be changed after VAT settlement before to place a new VAT related transaction in to the system.
