For the last eighteen years, I've been working as a software developer and architect focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (Dynamics AX). I help customers and implementation partners to design and develop complex business solutions, set up development and deployment processes, and train development teams. Being a freelancer gives me the opportunity to see many different projects and problems to learn from. I've earned Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award every year since 2013, and I hold quite a few certifications regarding Dynamics AX, DevOps, .NET, Azure and SQL Server. |

When I started working with Axapta, there were very few resources to learn from. But there were some - a Usenet newsgroup, axaptapedia.com, a few blogs... I used them heavily and I was also inspired by tools created by others and provided for free, such as Tabax. Later, I began to give something back to the community and as of today, I’ve written thousands of messages in various forums, hundreds of blog posts, released several development tools, spoken at conferences, and I'm also moderating community forums. Today we have many more blogs and other information sources than when I started, which is great. But Dynamics is also much bigger and changing rapidly, therefore there is always much to talk about. I lived abroad (mainly in the UK) for several years, but now I've settled in the beautiful city of Praha (Prague), Czech Republic. I love many outdoor activities such as hiking and cross-country skiing. And drinking Czech beer, of course! |
