Microsoft Support Ticket Process

Have you ever wondered how to open a support ticket with Microsoft? Let’s quickly see how to do it.

Navigate to Power Platform Admin Portal using URL: https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/

Click on Help + Support & dashboard will open for all tickets logged till date

To open a new request, click on new Support requestundefined and you will be presented with Basics tab

Select which product is causing an issue.

Let me take an example of Customer Engagement

Problem Types are listed below:

1. Access Issues

2. Administration Centre

3. Application and Add-ons

4. Artificial Intelligence

5. Creating and using forms

6. Customization and solutions

7. Email & Office Integration

8. Integrations with Other Products

9. Mobile Apps,Other Functionality

10. Portal add-on

11. Programmability and Software Development,

I am taking the example of Storage under Administration Centre.

Select requirement where the issue is occurring & then it will ask you a more specific question related to problem type along with suggestions:

Click on See Solutions & you will be moved to the next tab.

If you like the solution use the links else, click on Next. You will be moved to Details tab

Fill in the basic details, provide contact information and click on submit. Your ticket is created & you will receive an email shortly with all the details. The support engineer will contact you shortly.

Note:

1. Always cc your Technical Account Manager (TAM) from Microsoft. He will help you in fast-tracking if needed

2. You can ask TAM to increase severity to P1 but please make sure you have a strong motivation for the same

3. In the case of P1, you can ask not to get a call from 24*7 from Global CritSit Situation Manager

4. In case your issues are not resolved or getting delayed, please don’t show your frustration to support engineers. They are trying their best they can.
