Microsoft Teams is a collaborative product that helps organizations boost efficiencies and productivity.
This product is designed to simplify group work and improve communication.
One great feature of Microsoft Teams is the ability to build teams (groups) for certain projects, departments or initiatives. When you build these teams, it’s important that you turn on group notifications so you never miss an important update.
By default, they are not turned on, so you have to go into every team you want them setup for and turn them on yourself.
Turn them on in six easy steps.
1. Open Microsoft Teams

2. Click on the “Teams” icon on your left navigation bar

3. Click on the Team you want to turn on Notifications for

4. Click on the ellipses in the right-hand corner of your Teams window

5. A drop-down menu will appear – click on the “Channel Notifications” bell

6. Determine the settings you want on the pop-up screen – once you’ve decided, click save and exit

Microsoft Teams is compatible with Microsoft Office 365 and Dynamics 365. The tool is available for desktop and mobile use. Starting this month, users can gain 6 months of free access to Microsoft Teams.
