Post#3: Error during FA acquisition Journal Posting

If you get the following error while posting a Fixed asset acquisition journal…

Offset account for transaction type Acquisition, value model X does not exist for fixed asset Y

it usually means that you have not set up your fixed asset posting profile for the asset group.

So go to Fixed Asset–>Setup–>Posting Profile and add the required entry.
