Post#46: MR Error – The item no longer exists

Issue: Error in Management Reporter in AX 2012 R3 while opening a “Report Definition”.

The operation could not be completed because the item no longer exists

Even though this report was created and seemed fine earlier, this error was displayed.

Cause: User had checked out report, and user id was disabled.

Solution: User ID re-enabled and used admin control to remove other users checked out control.
