Automatic update for all Microsoft managed additional Sandbox (UAT) environments

We are introducing a new feature for Finance & Operations Lifecycle Services (LCS): automatic update for all Microsoft managed additional Sandbox (UAT) environments. This change will ensure that all Microsoft managed environments in an LCS project will get updated during their scheduled broadcast. Why are we doing this?
Up until this point, only Production and selected Sandbox environments were receiving monthly service update broadcasts. The update of additional Sandbox environments relied 100% on manual efforts by our customers. Extending the automatic update capability to additional Sandbox environments will reduce manual maintenance efforts and keep your environments up to date.

When are we doing this?

This next stage of our gradual rollout will begin on Friday, November 05, 2021. The final stage, which will include all customers, will occur starting January 2022.

How does this affect the customer?
The default Sandbox and Production environment update schedule will remain unchanged. All Microsoft managed additional Sandbox environments in your project will be updated on the same day as the Production environment. No action is required.
