Here some of the more interesting statistics from the study:

• 87 percent of survey respondents expect big data to have impact on the future of the business.
• 45 percent say they are currently experiencing substantial benefits.
• 84 percent say they have difficulty finding staff with Big Data optimization skills.
• 45 percent said they plan to hire more skilled staff within the next year.
