How to Bulk Edit

If you need to update a set of records to correct the state or province, change billing information on a set of records, update contact preferences for a group of Contacts or update the status of a group of Opportunities, among other things, you’ll be very happy with the capabilities of Bulk Edit.

Users will save clicks and entry-time by using Bulk Edit, which is what Microsoft Dynamics 365 was designed to do – help eliminate tedious tasks and put them on automation so that you can focus on the core of your job function.

Bulk Edit is a tool to help you edit several records with the same change(s) at once instead of having to spend the time and energy changing each record individually.

Follow these steps to take advantage of the Bulk Edit tool in Microsoft Dynamics. Be a more effective and productive user!

  1. Go to the list/view for the records you need to update
  2. Select the records you need to update and click Edit on the command bar
