GPUG Indiana/Kentucky Chapter Meets at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
We all know and love Dynamics GP - but who knew it could be this much fun?! Check out what the GPUG Indiana / Kentucky Regional Chapter has been up to this year...a May meeting at Oliver Winery and an August meeting at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway! Thank you to GPUG Member Steve Baute from Interactive Intelligence Inc. for this great recap (you can also catch Steve presenting at GPUG Summit this October in Seattle, WA).
The GPUG Indiana / Kentucky Regional Chapter followed their May meeting at the Oliver Winery with a trip to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) on August 23rd. Thanks to Carrie Pitman and the IMS (a Dynamics GP customer), the meeting was held at their main office building, which was the perfect place for the 25 members in attendance. Topher Morris, IT Project Manager at JBS United, started the presentations off with a Customer Showcase presentation on the Support Debugging Tool, which left everyone in attendance with a much better understanding of what this great support tool can do for their organizations. Bob McAdam, Tribridge, made the trip up to Indiana all the way from Tampa to give an excellent presentation, as Bob always does, on Management Reporter. Once these two presentations concluded, chapter members made their way over to Dawson’s on Main, to enjoy lunch and continue networking with fellow Dynamics GP users from the area in a more casual setting. To finish up the beautiful day and great event, some members headed back to the IMS and enjoyed 18 holes at the historic Brickyard Crossing Golf Course. What topped the day off for Bob McAdam was his personal tour of the IMS and his picture being taken on the famous yard of bricks. See some photos of the day below.
Regional Chapters of the Dynamics GP User Group (GPUG) meet face-to-face around the country to swap ideas, share insight, and dive into hot topics and areas of interest in Dynamics GP. Typically meeting on a quarterly basis, each Chapter has local volunteer leadership who help coordinate meetings and develop meeting agendas based on the needs of the particular Chapter. GPUG has more than 30 Chapters throughout the U.S. and Canada - learn more and get involved with your local Chapter at http://www.gpug.com/member-resources/regional-chapters/.
