MS Dynamics AX – The server is unavailable message

You may receive an email, phone call, or face the following issue by yourself (The application object server is unavailable. Check your configuration and network connection and try again.) “AX 2009″, or (The server is unavailable. Check your configuration and network connection and try again) “AX 2012″.

There are many reasons to get this message, I have faced two reasons one is a common which is the well known one where the MS Dynamics AX services is not started due to the administrator password changed, or the service is not started normally and the administrator have to start it manually.

The Client error message

The symptom of the other reason is strange somehow where everything is normal, the MS Dynamics AX service is started, other users are operating normally, the reason is the end user is reluctant to change his/her password where it is the IT policy to change the passwords every month, or three months.
