Sharing end to end flow with visuals
- Key setup
- Rate master
- Rate base
- Shipping carrier for Truck
- Customer: US-003, Forest Wholesales
- Customer address/Drop off postal code: 123 White Road, Los Angeles, CA 90004, USA
- Shipping warehouse W24
- Pickup postal code for warehouse 24: 321 North Steet, Gate 3, Tacoma, WA 98401, USA
- Roughly ~1100 miles and rate is 1.2$ per mile
- Shipping carrier: TruckCarrier
- Item A0001
- Delivery term: FOB with transportation charges enabled
- Mode of delivery: Truck-Truc
- STEPS
- Create SO, reserve inventory
- Release to warehouse and go to load planning workbench
- Go to "Rate Route workbench" from Load screen
- Verify address details and specify shipping carrier, carrier service and Mode
- click on "rate shop" to get freight rates
- From route results, select and 'assign' the rate from TruckCarrier
- Verify details in Route screen
- From Route rate details, expand system generated info and verify the rate there.
- Complete the warehouse work
- If doing in D365FO, then add in the URL &mi=action:WHSWorkExecute
- Once the shipment is confirmed, on SO totals, one can see the rate as misc. charge

This was very helpfulI have created a routing guide and route plans to calculate the route rate. The system is showing me the correct value when I click on the rate route on the outbound load planning workbench and enter the zip codes.However, when I check the maintain charges once the load is shipped the charges are not showing correctly. It shows 2 lines of freight charges.Could you please help.Thank you
