Microsoft Announces Project Madeira

Microsoft has done it again!  This morning Microsoft announced they will be releasing Project "Madeira" - a new comprehensive business management solution for SMB’s that works right within Office 365. Project “Madeira” allows you to manage your sales, finances, billing, purchasing, and inventory -- all without leaving Outlook. They will also be releasing a Project “Madeira” app for Windows, iOS and Android to extend the experience to your mobile and touch-enabled devices for productivity on the go.

Microsoft states:

Project “Madeira” connects business processes with the productivity tools in Office 365 to help small and medium-sized businesses grow sales, manage finances, and streamline operations. Project “Madeira” is a true multi-tenant public cloud service (Software as a Service) running on Microsoft Azure. Customers can access the service on the Web, or using apps for Windows, iOS, and Android devices.

Microsoft’s Project "Madeira" is now available in public preview and will be generally available in the US in the second half of 2016.
