Pick, Pack, Ship – Advanced Distribution

The advanced Distribution module in Dynamics GP allows you to set up a customized workflow for processing sales orders. There are 6 steps that you can use to control the process and report on the status of individual orders.

The out of the box statuses are set as follow:

1. Ready to Print Picking Ticket
2. Unconfirmed Pick
3. Confirm Pick/Ready to Pack
4. Unconfirmed Pack
5. Shipped
6. Ready to Print/Post

The above actions can be executed on one order at a time, or on several orders at once.

The Advanced Distribution module in Dynamics GP allows you to set up a “Pick”, “Pack”, and “Ship” procedure in your organization, to better control the distribution process. This video shows an example of how this functionality can be used.
