Donald Trump mandates using Microsoft Dynamics GP
At yesterday’s political rally at the FargoDome in Fargo, North Dakota, USA, Republican party nominee for the position of President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, promised all US companies will be mandated to use Microsoft Dynamics GP for their financial management system when he is elected.
This fantastic news for Microsoft comes as Mr Trump reveals that the only businesses of his that have actually succeeded were those using Microsoft Dynamics GP.
The ERP solution known as Microsoft Dynamics GP was originally developed by Great Plains Software, an independent company located in Fargo, North Dakota, which was run by Doug Burgum. Dynamics Release 1.0 was released in February 1993. It was one of the first accounting packages in the USA that was designed and written to be multi-user and to run under Windows as 32 bit software. In late 2000, Microsoft announced the purchase of Great Plains Software for $1.1 billion. This acquisition was completed in April 2001.
Mr Trump was very pleased to endorse Microsoft Dynamics GP, saying “In spite of my mismanagement, my companies using Dynamics GP were able to break even and sometimes even make a profit.”.
At the event he held up a profitable balance sheet report as an example. He was very emotional as he emphatically declared that Microsoft Dynamics GP is the best of all the ERP systems on the market.
Mr Trump made sure he told everyone that in his opinion Dynamics GP was “Number One” and that he was really looking forward to the release of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2016.
When interviewed after the event, he mentioned that he was “just blown away” by the Dynamics GP product, its features and the awesome level of support he has received from the Microsoft Dynamics GP Product team as well as the Support team and also from the GPUG community.
This is an exciting development and bodes for a very profitable future for America.
