André Arnaud de Calavon - Community Spotlight

André Arnaud de Calavon is a Microsoft Dynamics expert with over 25 years of experience in the software industry.

He started his career with Navision Financials, now known as Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Since the year 2001, he has been working with the Dynamics AX solution. Next to consulting and training skills, he also has good understanding of development and other technical aspects. The last years, his main focus is on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations and the Power Platform.

He worked for a few partners and one end-user in the past. As of May 2019, he works for To-Increase, where he has the role of solution architect. He likes complex challenges and troubleshooting. “If you can dream it, you can do it!”.

In October 2013, André was awarded as Microsoft Dynamics AX MVP. This was extended consecutively, and he got his ninth MVP award last July in the category “Microsoft Business Applications”.

I do like helping other people by sharing my knowledge. Some questions are also a learning to me or an inspiration for writing blogs and developing small features, like the recent shared feature for personalizing date formats in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. Although the Dynamics Community is a virtual place, it is great to meet other members in person on events like a Technical Conference or Summit.”
