Check what update rollup is installed on Microsoft Dynamics CRM

I recently had to check what update rollup and service pack was installed on the CRM server. There is multiple ways to check but I’ve found the following two ways to be the easiest and quickest. The following applies to CRM 2011 but is exactly the same for CRM 2013

From within CRM

Microsoft Dyanmics CRM 2011 About Dialog

To navigate to the about page of CRM, click on File -> Help -> About Microsoft Dynamics CRM

You will see information about CRM, and the version number that is the update installed in brackets, in this case 5.0.9690.2243 KB2600644 Update Rollup 8

CRM Deployment Manager

CRM 2011 Deployment Manager

Open Microsoft Dynamics CRM Deployment manager, and select Servers, you will see the name, role and version of the server.
