How-To: Remove First Accounting Period

I was trying to solve this issue, as we have a customer has an old database as a test, and need to remove the old data to start new transactions for the new year.

When we need to remove the old accounting period, and the application remove the periods as they were still open, but the first period can not be able to delete it.

Therefore, we went to Development Environment on the Accounting Period table (Table No. 50) , change the properties of the field “Date Locked“.

Change Editable from No to Yes, and you can delete the first accounting period and worked properly.
