Power Automate vs Logic Apps

When I am discussing integration scenarios with my customers, a frequent question I get is: When should I use Power Automate instead of Logic Apps?

First, let me tell you that Power Automate is built on top of Logic Apps architecture. Power Automate is a stand-alone Software as a Service (SaaS) that is designed for broad usage, including business users that want to automate day-to-day tasks. 

Power Automate and Logic Apps are both designer-first integration services that can create workflows. Both services integrate with various SaaS and enterprise applications. Power Automate and Logic Apps share the same workflow designer and the same connectors.

In my experience, the main difference is Logic Apps can enable advanced integrations (for example, B2B processes) where enterprise-level Azure DevOps and security practices are required. With that said you shouldn't overlook the Power Platform functionalities to extend the capabilities of Finance and Operations Apps.
