APP 10.0.8 Using unit of measure and unit quantity in inventory journals.

What’s New:  

A new feature allows the users to use the unit of measures and unit quantity in the inventory journal lines, which has been added in APP 10.0.8.

Business value:  

This feature allows the user to use the unit of measures and unit quantity in the inventory journal lines.

Enable feature: Using unit of measure and unit quantity in inventory journals.

• Navigate to workspaces > Feature management.
• Select feature name ‘Using unit of measure and unit quantity in inventory journals’ and then, in the details pane, select Enable Now. The feature is turned on.

How the unit and unit quantity functioning in the inventory journals:

When a new line inserted the inventory unit of measure will default till the user changes it to one of the convertible values and then you should type the quantity in the unit quantity hence subsequently the quantity value will be updated or vice versa. 

The inventory transactions and cost calculation will be recorded as per the inventory unit.
