Here are three options:

 1) First option is Automatic reserving of inventory when SO is released in batch in wave process

As soon as below mentioned feature is process (interactively or in batch)

Also note the load posting method has the below method present

And last but not the least, the wave template must also have the below method selected.

2) Second option is manual creation of load and then releasing to warehouse. Here you can combine or many SO lines into one load and then release.

One load is created, can release to warehouse which would update load status to waved.

3) Third options is using Automatic reserve sales order line inventory using Accounts Receivable
