Application cannot be started. Contact the application vendor. D365F&O Workflow issue

 If you have different D365F&O environments and need to edit workflows, you probably will find this issue.




Searching more for this you can find a log that says:

Unable to install this application because an application with the same indentity is already installed.

This is caused by the ClickOnce application cache used by the D365F&O.

You can workaround this running the following command using the CMD as admin:

rundll32 dfshim CleanOnlineAppCache

All browsers need to be closed.
