How to create service request to the Dynamics Service Engineering team by using Lifecycle Services (LCS)?

Firstly, you must have permission for the project to create a service request

You can check permission from project users

go to https://lcs.dynamics.com/v2 and login


click on your project


click on project users to review permission

just filter by user


to create a service request, click on your project and select service


or go to work items from the menu and select work items


click work items tab, you can see create a new request


you have three types of the service request as the below

1-Database point-in-time restore: this is for restoring a non-production database to a specific point in time
just select restore point time and environment name ..etc

2-Database refresh:  This for refresh database from Production to Test as an example 

just select source and target environments

3-Other requests: like the upgrade and request the system be put into maintenance mode...etc

all requests, you can set start and end preferred downtime
