Dynamics Business Central and Power Platform Virtual Entities

With last years Fall release, we now have the capability to do CRUD operations against all the Standard APIs from Business Central through Power Platform. This adds additional capability than the standard Dynamics Business Central and Dynamics Sales integration, where data is replicated across these two applications.

If you are not familiar with Virtual Entities in the Power Platform, it is a way for Power Platform users to do CRUD operations against external data sources at runtime, without the need for data replication.

So for instance, a Sales user can look up the real tile inventory on hand information by location within the Dynamics Sales Application by using standard views on Virtual Entities
