Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Developers Receive Standing Ovation at Tech Airlift in Fargo

A group of unsung heroes got a dose of recognition and thanks last week in Fargo.  At the closing session of the Technical Airlift conference hosted by GP Partner Connections (GPPC) – a Microsoft Dynamics Partner community association – the Dynamics GP 2013 developers paraded into a jam-packed room on Microsoft’s Fargo Campus and took their place on stage in front a raucous ovation from the Dynamics Partner community.

“Being a Microsoft Dynamics GP developer can be a thankless job.” said Jeff Trosen, Product Unit Manager for Microsoft.  “We sit in our cubicles and give our all to deliver high quality code for systems that are used by some of the world’s best companies.  We seldom get to see the people that engage in it after it leaves our fingertips.”

Just after the conference, Bob McAdam, Co-Chairman of GP Partner Connections added, “It was great to see the appreciation by my partner colleagues for these wonderful individuals.  I have spent much of my career working with Dynamics GP and have never had a chance to thank the developers who are behind it all like this.  It was a long, overdue thank you, particularly around this amazing version [Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013] they’re about to launch.”

Microsoft Dynamics GP is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) class software produced largely in Fargo, ND.  The latest release of the software - Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 – is due out in the 4th quarter of the year.  The GP Partner Connections association is made up of VAR and ISV Partners who have built a community with the objectives around education, knowledge sharing, networking, and advocacy.  Learn more at http://www.GPPartnerConnections.com.
