Exporting in NAV2009: The object file cannot be used with this version of the program

Today, I tried to export a fob file from a 2009R2 but strangely I got the following error:

The reason of this error was pretty fast figured out for me by accident. But if anybody gets this as well, here is the reason. (I am using build 32012 by the way, don’t know if later builds have this as well).

I tried exporting to my desktop, but got this error. While I was at my desktop, I though about cleaning up all other temp exports that existed there, and suddenly the fob export did succeed, from there on, It was easy to figure it out, since I had worked with NAV2013 a lot recently. As soon as there is a fob of NAV2013 in the folder you are trying to export too, for some reason, NAV2009R2 doesn’t want to export you a fob to this folder anymore…

So, if you get this error, move or delete other fobs that might be from NAV2013, and you are good to go again…
