Error/Resolution: License Errors in Dynamics NAV

Hi Nav People,

It is a new post, but i tried to collect a lot of Errors and it’s resolution that i face during the learning curve in Dynamics NAV.

And i found may be this will be interesting for you and also helpful when you face such errors.

1- Contact Your System Administrator to have your permission changed.

You may face this error after creating a new database from scratch, as we talked about in the last post.

This Resolution of this error is the License file.

You have to upload the license file to be able to read related tables according to your license (Starter / Extended)

2- Your Program License Expires in __ days.

You will face this error message (it is not error message, it is just notification), and it will appear when you open the development environment withing the last 30 days of your license end date.

The same notification message will appear also on the client side within the last 30 days.
