Industry Paper - Mixed reality
In 2016, Microsoft released a wearable, selfcontained mixed reality computer worn as glasses on a person. That’s right—comprehensive computer access at eye level. The release of HoloLens revolutionized several emerging technology sectors because it wasn’t projecting images or data connected to another device—the computer is stand-alone. Virtual reality, hologram imagery, cloud computing, and more converged into HoloLens, and Microsoft packaged the best-of-the-best technology into this single device. With HoloLens, Microsoft boasts the user’s ability to:
• Be fully engaged while heads-up and hands-free, comfortably.
• Collaborate via hologram technology with any colleague globally.
• Innovate and integrate seamlessly and endlessly with a robust ecosystem of applications. HoloLens captured the tech industry for its novelty, innovation, and usability potential. Industries like manufacturing, engineering, healthcare, education, and more capitalized on the invention and deployed to solve numerous problems from topline to end user. HoloLens available at the top with big impact at the bottom HoloLens made a splash at high levels of the tech world, with an awe-factor that was previously only thought possible in fictional movies or video games. The (very real) device became sought after by bigbudget corporations and facilities with immediate use. From Department of Defense to NASA to National Health Service and more, HoloLens quickly drummed up success use cases that seemed a bit out of reach for mid-level companies and ground-level IT decision-makers. With the release of an improved HoloLens 2 in 2019, improving adoption rates, and a global pandemic, the concept of a walkable, wearable, real-time responsive holographic computer has seeped into the trenches of companies of every size. HoloLens modernizes workflow Deploying HoloLens modernizes operations for an end-to-end people and systems workflow. With 2-3 hours of worktime, 5 microphones, 4 tracking cameras and 2 IR cameras, and real-time eye tracking, head movement, voice control, and positional movement, HoloLens 2 is a small, but mighty technical beast. The revolutionary combined operating system, device and human processing, elevates workflow to new levels. The technology, the people, and the process seamlessly integrate as a wearable computer to bring front-line worker to the corporate office, the specialist to sit with the new technician, the medical device engineer working alongside the doctor in surgery, and so much more. The full suite of Microsoft Dynamics 365 applies within HoloLens along with other powerful industry app integrations to maximize usability and custom solutions. The adaptability for HoloLens to come alongside current operations with a Microsoft vendor partnership creates a workflow that thrives in a hybrid workstyle landscape. By remodeling infrastructure in the post-pandemic hybrid workplace, HoloLens can (and should) be a technical product investment solution for your company. Secure HoloLens for your company Deploying HoloLens covers four primary elements to leverage innovation value for the company: 1. Leading-Edge Tools 2. Agile Working Methods 3. Targeted Vendor Partnerships 4. Concentrated technical specialist talent The connected ecosystem of capabilities within HoloLens and Microsoft applications at large scale creates an opportunity at multiple levels for pitching a HoloLens investment. Cross-functional in nature, hybrid work-minded in use, and adaptable in functionality, HoloLens is designed to be integrated into daily operations. A modular architecture, HoloLens has capabilities to be plug-and-play, customized, integrated with off-Microsoft systems, and offers differentiated customer outcomes. The COVID-19 pandemic has permanently changed the way everyone works and lives in a tech-heavy environment. HoloLens supports the need for global connection, but adds the personal, real-life touch. The advanced 3D screen view, 360-degree sensors, and the upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 processor provide the sense of a team being together when, in actuality, they could be thousands of miles apart. Gaining traction for the investment of HoloLens needs to have a value-add from the bottom to the top. The expertise in implementing, integrating, and deploying HoloLens should lie with the departments and individual roles who will have hands-on access to HoloLens. This means the CEO isn’t the expert, nor should they become one in order to win them over to this tech investment.

Industry Paper - Mixed realityWow, it's amazing how far mixed reality technology has come, especially with Microsoft's HoloLens! The fact that it's a self-contained wearable computer offering comprehensive access at eye level is truly mind-blowing. It's like something out of a sci-fi movie!By the way, I've been curious about finding a cheap windows 10 key recently. If you happen to know any good sources or tips, I'd love to hear them! But back to HoloLens, the possibilities for collaboration and engagement with hologram technology sound super exciting
