3 New Special Interest Groups: Sports Teams, Behavioral Healthcare, New to GP

GPUG is introducing 3 new Special Interest Groups (SIGs) in April and May! SIGs are designed to connect you with other users like you, who’ve had similar experiences and use Dynamics GP much the same way you do.

The new SIGs are:

Sports Teams
First Meeting – April 17, 3:30-4:30pm ET
(For Dynamics GP and Dynamics CRM users)
Learn more

Behavioral Healthcare
First Meeting – April 24, 2:00-3:00pm ET
Learn more

New to Dynamics GP
First Meeting - May 21, 3:00-4:00pm ET
Learn more

If you’re interested in any of these meetings, click the ‘Learn more’ link to see the complete session description and get registered. These inaugural meetings will help lay the groundwork for the SIG (so think about what topics you’d like to discuss/explore) and are open to all GPUG user members.

When you say Dynamics GP in the Cloud 'does not provide all of the functionality of regular GP', are you referring to the GP 2013 Web Client by chance?  Here at Dynamic Communities, we're leveraging GP 2013 in a Cloud environment, but I don't notice any changes from an on-premise configuration whatsoever.  It is, after all, the same code, and our list of 3rd party ISVs is relatively small, for now.  If you'd be interested in discussing this further one-on-one, I'd be more than happy to chat with you - please send me a Contact Request and we can talk about what code issues you're having.

Dynamics GP in the Cloud, while gaining traction quickly, is still a relatively new idea, all things considered.  While I agree that a Cloud SIG might be a good idea one day, I don't believe that this particular day has arrived yet.  We will certainly keep this suggestion in mind, however.

Is it possible to get a SIG for MYGPCLOUD users.  I have be a GP user for 11 years and recently moved and now am on GP Cloud.  I am finding that the Cloud is great for a basic user but does not provide all of the functionality of regular GP.  It would be great to collaborate with other Cloud users.
