On the Move: CRMUG Summit Opening Session Highlights

Welcoming a standing room only crowd, Tony Stein (CRMUG Program Director), kicked off CRMUG Summit 2013 in Tampa, this morning. His challenge to our attendees - dig deep, stretch yourself, and make connections.

The 500+ attendees represent a 45% growth over CRMUG Summit 2012 in Seattle, and promise to make this year's networking, and knowledge sharing the best yet. Attendance numbers aren't the only thing on the move - the release of Orion is bringing CRM 2013 to the mobile worker. We know CRM users aren't always in the office (attendees were away from their desk this morning, weren't they?); mobility helps take productivity to new levels!

If you're not joining us here in Tampa, here's what else you missed:

Andreas Kraemer, Chairman of the Board, greeted CRMUG members and Summit attendees. With first time CRMUG Summit attendees comprising over 50% of the audience, Andreas shared experiences from his first Summit. He encouraged attendees to share best practices, and expand their network. The expansion of our Regional Chapters and Global Branches has created new opportunities for members to connect with other CRM users in their area. Start building your relationships during Summit and continue the conversations via Collaborate or local meetings when you get back home.

We were thrilled to have Param Kahlon and Reuben Krippner from Microsoft for a LIVE demo of Orion/CRM 2013! There are big changes from this new release thanks to input from users like YOU! The Orion experience includes a reimagined user experience, role tailored mobility, social integration, agility, richness, and increased performance & scalability. For Social Media lovers - CRM 2013 includes Social Insights, powered by InsightView, FREE with your professional license. More BIG NEW: 20-30 industry templates will be coming soon to the Dynamics Marketplace!

A huge THANK YOU to the CRMUG Summit Sponsors and Exhibitors, especially our Premiere Sponsors who joined us on stage - Cincom, CustomerEffective, and Experlogix. You help make this event possible and we deeply appreciate your support.

With all this excitement this morning's presenters generated, there was no better way to kick off CRMUG Summit 2013! Over the next three days, attendees will participate in over 100 CRM-centric sessions presented MVPs, CRM users, partners, Microsoft team members, and experts. We can't wait to watch users ELEVATE their knowledge, team and network!
