Great Vic Bike Ride 2019 – Day 3 | Millicent – Mount Gambier (77 kilometres)

As mentioned on my article Great Vic Bike Ride 2019 – Where is David? He is riding the Great Ocean Road, my wife Jennifer and I are off on an adventure cycling with 5,000 other like minded people across the beautiful south coast of Australia.
Jennifer will be riding a road bike tandem as pilot along with our vision impaired friend Meredith as stoker, and I will be supporting them as domestique on my single bike.
Below is an excerpt from the ride page located here for today’s section:
Day three’s riding will take us across undulating hills as we weave through the pastoral lands around Millicent. The day in the saddle finishes in the south eastern corner of South Australia at Mount Gambier, where you’ll be greeted by the famous Blue Lake.
Once you’ve taken in the sight of the cobalt blue waters, there’s plenty to do around town, from walking up Centenary Tower to sampling local food, or even exploring the towns Great Rail Trail and bike riding network.
Enjoy
David
