Dynamics CRM 2011 Rollup 16-17 & fix with latest 18

You might find the below online but some of my experiences are summarized here.

Below is some of the fixes included in RU 18: 

Users with specified security roles/teams may receive a 404 error and will have access related issues in CRM after Rollup 16 or Rollup 17 update on 2011

 The wait conditions in workflows on attributes, the wait conditions may fail if they are not one of the following attribute types

Float, Money, Integer, Picklist/OptionSet,DateTime, , Decimal, Status, Boolean

This occurs if OrgDbOrgSetting is enabled: ActivateAdditionalRefreshOfWorkflowConditions

Check summary values when saving the report created from report wizard to Excel after the 16&17 on 2011

check the backspace button in text fields if system settings were not used ""Load pages in the most recent version of Internet Explorer".

After Update Rollup 16 is installed on the server and client,When the AddressBookMaterializedViewsEnabled OrgDbOrgSettings value is set to True, and the searching for records in the CRM client for Outlook Address Book will not return correct records and the sort order may be incorrect.

When using the CRM for Outlook client with Update Rollup 16 applied a Quick Find search on the Account entity shows correct columns on the first search. If you search a second time with the same or different search phrase, columns which belong to related entities are missing in the result set.

 After Update Rollup 16 is applied, Silverlight web resource grids formatted with "Use available area (Stretch to Fit)” no longer sizes the grid height properly.

 rsProcessingAborted errors when running reports after executing the report followed by Rollup 17; Check the reports.

 Check CRM to SharePoint (if using List components) and how the integration working after RU17 format change

 A new field that is named attachmentcontentid is added in the "activitymimeattachment" entity.
