Hi everyone!
Today I want to describe very nice functionality for Recurring General Journals in Business Central.
Can you imagine that you can calculate the amount for journal line line based Account Schedule figures for current month or day.
You can set up amounts calculation based on Business Central data using Account Schedules not in Excel and system will put amount to lines automatically!
How it works:
For Recurring General Journal line I have fields:
- Acc.Schedule Name
- Acc. Schedule Description
- Column Layout Name
- Column Header
That means I can add how to calculate line amount.
Than I can use the function Calculate Recurring Journal Amounts. System gives me Report options with dates based on my Posting date.
And...magic! I have my amount calculated in the journal line!
There is one sadness here, this functionally is available only for Russian localization.
