Configuring Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Outlook Client - WCF Strikes Again

I have already addressed WCF clock synchronization fault in this post.

The first time I encountered this fault, it took me about 3 hours to find out it is the reason why a client machine can not access Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 OrganizationService service.
The second time, it required *only* 1 hour.

When configuring Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Outlook Client for one of my colleagues, I kept getting the following error: “Cannot find any organization on the server. Try entering the URL again. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator.”
after wasting a whole hour, I have finally opened Outlook Client installation log and found the familiar “An unsecured or incorrectly secured fault was received from the other party. See the inner FaultException for the fault code and detail”. The inner exception stated: “An error occurred when verifying security for the message”.

Checking the computer clock, it turns out it is 7 minutes late, which is enough for WCF to throw the aforementioned fault. Setting the clock to the correct regional time solved the problem and allowed a successful configuration of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Outlook Client
