#MSDYNSL scheduled release update
Today is an exciting day for us at Microsoft as we formally announce Microsoft Dynamics SL scheduled releases for 2016 and 2017.
The Microsoft Dynamics SL 2015 CU2 release, expected to be generally available worldwide in Q4 of calendar year 2016, shows Microsoft’s continued commitment to web enabling, creating features customers are asking for plus a focus on new technologies like Power BI.
Web Apps enables users to work when they want, how they want, with the device they want. Deployment options in the cloud, on premise or hybrid approaches enable businesses to have control over how they leverage the cloud.
Our existing Dynamics SL community is incredibly important to us and we strive to really listen and act upon their needs. This release includes new Web Apps and enhancements to existing Web Apps requested by the community.
PowerBI is a fast growing Microsoft solutions to help companies get knowledge to actually run the business instead of monitoring it. The Microsoft Dynamics SL 2015 CU2 release will include our first step in creating solutions in PowerBI, followed by additional items in the following years release.
Microsoft Dynamics SL next release major release is scheduled for 2017. It will continue to focus on web enablement, customer requested features in the Web and in the rich client as well as further connections with PowerBI.
Thanks,
Jeff Suwyn
