In week 3 of our blog series ‘What’s new in Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online?’ we’re going to look at how the theming has changed with Dynamics CRM 2015 Update 1 giving you more flexibility.

Please find a link to our first two blog posts in the list below and a list of what will be coming up over the next few weeks.

Part 3: Theming

One of the first comments I received from our first CRM 2013 customer was “it’s very white”. The move from CRM 2011 to CRM 2013 was to provide a more minimilistic and efficient user interface – the downside of this was that the screen was very plain.  In recent updates more colour and cosmetic changes have come but in Dynamics CRM 2015 Service Pack 1 the organisation has control on the look and feel.

Users can replace the Microsoft Dynamics CRM logo with their company logo (or name they have provided their system). They can also change the colour of the banner, the background in the dropdowns, the colour when you select a button etc. This can be used to add a little bit of personalisation to your CRM or alternatively different colours could be used for different CRMs within your organisation e.g. test, live, training. Below is a quick example of the Theme page where you can customise your system. I have added a Sysco logo and changed the standard blue banner to red.  Although a small change, I am sure this will be welcomed by many.
