Combining Inventory Items with PSTL Microsoft Dynamics GP (with video)

One of my Microsoft Dynamics GP customers had accidentally created two (2) Inventory items for what was actually one item.  If you end up with duplicate Inventory Items and want to combine, watch this video on how to use the free Professional Services Tool Library (PSTL) to do just that.

 

This free tool can be installed from the Microsoft Dynamics GP installation window.

Two important things to keep in mind when using any Professional Services Tool Library (PSTL) task:

  1. Be the only one in the system at the time of performing the task.
  2. Make a SQL backup before you begin.
