Here is an amazing feature that is available for preview: Work IQ Email. A seamless agent that is capable of reading, responding your emails and take actions on your behalf. Integrate Work IQ MCP into your agents to expand their capabilities and deepen their understanding. Acting as the intelligence foundation for Microsoft 365 Copilot and your agents, Work IQ provides real-time, organization-wide context. By connecting signals across Microsoft 365 and your business systems, it powers personalized search, advanced reasoning, and richer semantic comprehension. With its broad awareness of your work environment, Work IQ enables Copilot and your agents to deliver insights, recommendations, and actions that reflect the true dynamics of your business.
Essentially the Work IQ Email MCPs are based out of the following component layers:
Here goes a quick walkthrough of the steps to implement the same for your Copilot Studio Agent:
In your agent add the following tool under Model Context Protocol:
Click on Add and Configure >> login with your credentials:
This gives you a list of what are the tools that are available with it:
These are immensely large spectrum of tools from the MCP that can help you manage your mailers using the Copilot, seamlessly.
Now save and publish your agent.
Launch test and ask questions like:
And it might ask you to allow, if you are using it for the first time. Once you’ve given permission, it would take a while to answer back:
