CASE STUDY: Maps Credit Union Develops Stronger Tracking Standards to Facilitate Member Compliance utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Ledgeview Partners
Maps Credit Union partnered with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Ledgeview Partners to implement a CRM solution that would help address the growing pains of the business unit at Maps Credit Union, provide better tracking systems, and help them comply with state and federal regulations.
Maps Credit Union was using legacy systems that lacked the sophistication needed for their specific line of business before they sought out Ledgeview Partners to help them implement Microsoft Dynamics 365.
During this time period, each team member was using individual processes such as notetaking to keep track of member changes and updates.
The lack of intuitive, integrated, collaborative tools created inefficiencies for Maps Credit Union — inefficiencies that were compounded by astounding growth in their line of business.
As the department continued to rapidly grow, and functions were added to the unit, the need for a more streamlined method of taking notes, communicating with members, and documenting important information became a priority for the team.
Maranda McArthur, CRM Project Team Lead and Assistant Manager of the business unit at Maps Credit Union navigated next steps to find a solution that would work for the company.
McArthur’s knowledge of the customized solutions Microsoft Dynamics had to offer, based on Maps Credit Union’s subsidiaries’ positive experience with the system, led them to Ledgeview and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Now, Maps Credit Union celebrates the ability to add notes and record activities in their Dynamics records, helping improve departmental collaboration and the member experience at Maps Credit Union.
Understanding the software was one of the biggest hurdles Maps had to overcome with their CRM implementation, but as they gain more experience, they excite over seeing Dynamics pay off more and more.
